Lucy Davis bears all for PETA ad

Here we go again, this time with British-based PETA porn of the soft core variety. Actress Lucy Davis, best known for her role in BBC comedy The Office, is the new PETA bimbo for a new campaign from animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

The shows a nude Davis cuddling a strategically placed toy bear.

Using the 'pun'gent phrase ‘Bare skin, not bear skin’, the campaign aims to pressure the Ministry of Defence to ditch real bearskin in favour of artificial fur for the famous Queen’s Guards’ hats.

PETA said that the campaign will last until the end of the year, with the group currently considering which medium to utilise. Previously, PETA has used print, outdoor and ambient advertising to highlight its campaigns.

A source at PETA said that the organisation is lining up further, as yet unnamed, celebrities for ads. The organisation has previously used model Naomi Campbell and actress Pamela Anderson in its campaigning.

Earlier this year, PETA escaped censure from the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) over complaints about an ad with the strapline ‘Feedings kids meat is child abuse.’
